We Recommend

Locations:

Our Studio is the perfect place to shoot with controlled lighting and several backdrop choices. However, if you choose outside photography we recommend shooting at “the barns” or right around town Plainwell. Shooting outside is better in the mornings or evenings so your appointment time will be determined based on lighting and weather. If you have a favorite location let us know about it. We’re happy to travel and the additional charge is simply based on distance and time.

What to Wear

This depends on what you’re looking for. I recommend not using bright or heavy patterns. Also stay away from tiny stripes. If you like black and white photography then it’s best wear black and white clothing. If we’re shooting down at the barns I like darker colors such as Navy Blue, Black, Browns, and Dark Greens however there’s really no “rules” and you should wear what you feel most comfortable in or what fits best with what style photo you’re looking for. We meet a lot of vendors especially in the wedding field. Here’s a few that we would recommend based on the work we’ve seen first hand. I don’t recommend everyone only those I’ve worked with several times and would hire myself.
